Thomas Flood is a US Army and Air Force veteran and Registered Nurse with years of multi-faceted experience under his belt, who is driven by a passion to care for the needy and bring relief to the suffering, no matter where they may be. As Chairman of our Advisory Board for Global Missions, Tom brings on board decades of experience in organizing and conducting similar missions across the world.
In a career that spans over four and a half decades, Tom has been successful in using his skills and expertise to bring relief to the needy, both in operations theatres across the country and mission fields around the world.
Tom is the Founder and Executive Director of Surgical Volunteers International, who specialize in organizing and conducting surgical camps in developing countries around the world to treat children and young adults free of charge. Since its inception in 2007, Surgical Volunteers International has conducted 52 successful missions in 22 different countries and treated nearly 2,000 children.
